Why buy from us?

You get first grade peppercorns from around the world at a fair price and producers get a truly equitable share from the proceeds of your purchase.

How does it work?

You contact us to pre-order your choice of pepper. We combine your order with other buyers' to save on costs with the larger batch. Once the shipment is delivered to us, we send you your share of the bundle.

What's the catch?

Since we have to group multiple orders for a lump purchase, you'll have to wait a few weeks. It currently takes about 8 to 10 weeks, but we expect this timeline to decrease, as we work to smoothen the process.

What's our mission?

We're working to establish better trade routes and practices that benefit everyone, from prime pepper producers around the world, to their consumers.

How are we different?

Some of the criticisms toward Fair trade resonate with us at an almost personal level. Only Pepper is our attempt at profitable and fairer trade for all. It's an experiment putting some of our core beliefs to the test. Namely that it's possible to have a thriving and sustainable business, that caters as much to quality and service for its clients, while affording a reasonable and equitable income to producers. Our goal is to find purpose through our activities of sourcing and facilitating the distribution of prime pepper and to eventually generate a modest, but worthwhile income.

Is this a co-op?

No. At least not yet. Although in its current operations and in its long-term plans Only Pepper feels much like a (future) co-op, it currently isn't one formally. But we're open to the idea, if the dynamics are favorable to those outcomes.
